Money is cool (Eth). Programmable money is cool ($PLEDGE ERC-20). Programmable contracts are cool (EVM). Programmable art is cool (Dynamic/Responsive/Evolving NFTs). Programmable art from a programmable contract that uses programmable money is ultra cool! (Guardian Sigils, for one). In the Guardian Sigils contract (which generates all art code onchain, cough cough), I set a timer for 7 days to disallow multiple mints, so that the community had plenty of time to mint one if they wanted. That period just ended and by 🔮 magic ✨ the contract now alters its behavior. This is in addition to all the cool programmable stuff that the project has, including holding a tranche of the ERC-20 tokens for each NFT. It's been a looong weekend, and since release on Friday, my newest #onchain project, Guardian Sigils, has seen 172 mints! This is an experimental art collection that integrates with an experimental community coin, and so far 172 different accounts have minted! I'd like to send a huge thank you to each and every one that has engaged with the project so far. ❤️ This coming Friday at 9am Eastern, the contract will start to allow multiple mints per receiving account. Concentric Ensōs #1 has been accepted into The Durham Art Guild’s 70th Annual Juried Exhibition! See it (and possibly buy it) while it's on display in Durham from Nov. 26 - Jan. 26. This piece is from my project “Painted Paths,” where I use a large, customized pen plotter to execute perfectly positioned brushstrokes. While the path the brush takes is controlled by my code and the machine, the results are anything but perfect due to variation in how I load paint for each individual stroke; the surface variations in the canvas/medium; and brush, paint, humidity, drying time, or other environmental variables. 📢 Announcement time! tl;dr: Chainlife mint reopens tomorrow, noon EDT at 1/3 price 💥 Launched in 2022, Chainlife is an advanced onchain NFT project that inspired illustrious mintoooors and DAOs to participate. After sales slowed, I paused the project while I worked on a new plan: I cut the max mintable to 1/4, cut the price to 1/3, and airdropped 2 tokens to each owner (the new price reflects the average price paid by current owners for the tokens they hold).
