Why does crypto not have more consumer apps? Because it currently does not solve many problems for consumers. Crypto has strong consumer product-market fit with speculative use cases. This is because itโ€™s a) potential to make money quickly b) entertainment. The way to grow the number of consumers in crypto is increase the amount of entertainment in crypto apps. Consumers have unlimited demand for novel entertainment.

I think your speculation point is a very US centric view of crypto. In places like Argentina and Venezuela adoption was not driven only by speculation but by need because of inflation. In some areas adoption has been because of cross border payments. Honestly I think there are not more consumer apps because crypto is hard - UI/UX hasnโ€™t been a focus, challenges such as offramp, lack of focus on language (English centric) and regional solutions. That is why I am excited about products like @bandocool . Would love others to chime in @chaps @lalocripto @launamu @carlosjmelgar @nicnode @troopdegen.eth
