Got it. It's interesting to see what the data is showing, and I wonder what the breakdown is by channel. Anecdotally, there are channels I don't bother to read anymore because they became overrun with shilling. But there are others which are art/music focused which still seem like genuine interaction.

The other issue is with incentives. People used to join mainly for the open graph, crypto features, and the great group of ppl personally invited by Dan. Now more ppl join to farm memecoins, and you get airdrops by being very active which has so far mostly resulted in crazy amounts of spam.

The simple answer is to look at the top casts and channels in the last 24hrs on farcasterinsights.com. It’s a lot of spam or farming and curating from this environment is not fun. It was not like this before. There was a time where every cast you clicked on was clearly not spam.
