anon I warned you - what's your game plan now for your shiny decentralised protocol, which is developed and its UI deployed via GH? Bitbucket? Gitlab? Half of the solution is there in that anybody who has the repo cloned could push it somewhere else. I think people forget that git remains a decentralized technology. We just let one big provider dominate as a hosting solution. Good reminder though that maybe we should start auto-cloning things to other locations...

The bigger problem is actually the history and the context provided. All of the comments made on PRs, issues, etc. Itβs the biggest source of collaborative information that isnβt captured in git itself. Just becauseβ¦ we all collaborate on Github still
