My dilemma: want to use the AVP as a desktop extension with resource-intensive apps on the desktop and floating reference windows in Vision OS, but I have a corded mechanical keyboard. Is there a clean solution for using a single corded keyboard?

I am assuming that when you connect your desktop, you can use its input as well. https://youtu.be/dtp6b76pMak?si=Q8aiw2X9qESSBJYu In this video, MKBHD talks about using this to work on a plane on his Macbook Pro. I am assuming he uses the connected Macbook's inputs.

Yeah, this would be ideal... I guess it's all down to how VisionOS uses the inputs of the shared MacOS and whether it can use those within its own context. I really just want to be able to type in Safari in VisionOS using my mech keyboard that's attached to my Mac.

Okay, having watched that it does look like they might be able to direct your text input to a selected VisionOS input. Man, I hope that's the case! Here's the specific bit that makes this look possible: https://youtu.be/dtp6b76pMak?si=2N811Jd8zCuUMowO&t=1347
