Need an opinion based on real experience using AI models for agent development on farcaster! What's better approach: using high-level frameworks like @ai16z eliza (maybe other alternatives) or building your own agent from ground up based on specific needs?

if you want to build something real and valuable, build your own. it'll help you understand how things work and allow you to build exactly what you want. frameworks like eliza are optimized for a specific use case which is probably different that yours and using it wont save you as much time as you think. but might still be helpful to go through the eliza source code and see how they do some things and learn from it. just my opinion.

Thanks, @moe I'm more inclined towards (1) as well and already looking through (2) docs and youtube guides, but maybe someone tried it and found quite usable and extendable enough for specific needs.
