i can't do two different things with one hand each. i feel like im capable of a single track and i play the notes or rhythm as one beat after the other. the same for piano.

i used to drum and dj. what you're describing will come after enough practice. in the beginning you really have to concentrate and think of them independently to play each hand. after enough practice, there will be one moment when your brain just 'gets' it and you can feel it the difference.
