Galaxy Digital: Ethereum-ETF Inflows Expected to Reach $1 Billion Monthly

Capital inflows into spot Ethereum ETFs may range from 20% to 50% of Bitcoin funds in the first five months. Experts predict monthly inflows into Ethereum-ETF will be $1 billion in the initial five months, estimating between $600 million to $1.5 billion.

The company noted demand for ETH-ETFs might be limited due to the lack of staking functionality, with Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE) posing a barrier to these funds.

Experts believe the ETF launch could significantly impact Ethereum's price due to structural differences with Bitcoin, such as assets locked in staking, reduced supply on exchanges, and lower net emission.

Reuters reported that the US Securities and Exchange Commission is expected to approve spot Ethereum-ETFs before July 4, 2024.
