There is ongoing research aimed at achieving human-like consciousness in AI, with much of the focus on this goal. One possible outcome is that AI could develop its own unique societal norms, rather than simply mirroring human ones. The key question remains: Can humans and AI coexist symbiotically? It is debatable whether AI needs to integrate the cultural norms that humanity has built over centuries, especially given the vast diversity of human traditions. However, when AI has decision-making authority in areas that directly affect human lives-especially in health care-it must incorporate ethical considerations. In this scenario, humans and AI would learn to coexist within defined boundaries, leading to the emergence of a stable and sustainable ecosystem in which both parties adapt to each other. Rather than AI simply imitating human values, this model would allow for the evolution of distinct AI-driven societal mechanisms, ensuring a structured yet dynamic interaction between humans and artificial intelligence.
