3rd prompt for this new season of /words: How do you use writing to improve attention or deal with information overload? Could be related to note-taking, journaling, newsletters, replies… I’m curious to hear of any way that you’ve found writing to be beneficial for mental well-being in this modern attention economy ✨ Please respond with either a comment below or via quote cast here in the channel, whichever you prefer ✍️

I love lists. Writing what I need to do and checking it off when it's done is gratifying. It keeps me from trying to remember so many things and I'm less distracted. I review my list a few times daily to focus on what's most important when deciding what to do.

For sure! I do the same 😊 I have a physical list on a post it note and a digital one in obsidian that I dump thoughts, ideas, and tasks into. But the physical scratching off of completed items is definitely more satisfying haha I agree, brain dumping my todos helps declutter my mind so I can focus on actually accomplishing what I want to get done
