Yes— a ton of administrators added since the early 90s.  I went to Ohio State for undergrad and my yearly tuition (not including room and board or books) was just under $3k after I got in state status.. as an out of stater it was closer to $8k.  30 years forward—10x+

Universities that are incentivized to constantly build + grow also need lots of people to run all their brand new state of the art buildings and facilities

Would also like to see a “years into career” statistic or like years post teaching salary

yet so ever innovations in education are in fact prohibited...
