Vitalik Buterin, the legendary founder of the Ethereum network and cryptocurrency, was very concerned yesterday about the cryptocurrency community and his own environment. According to blockchain data analysis platforms, Buterin is moving exactly 3,000 ETH units equivalent to about $8 million at the current rate, to a completely new address, and this in conditions of declines in the value of the cryptocurrency. As I mentioned in my previous post, two consecutive weekly lower highs could be disastrous. However, the price remains above the weekly trendline and is safe as long as it holds there. One hint that Bitcoin (BTC) is giving right now, leading me to believe it will hold this trendline, is the bullish divergence on the daily timeframe. BTC is forming descending triangle on weekly timeframe that most likely break to the upside, and losing the weekly trendline could lead to a breakdown towards $50,000.

A couple of days ago was the announcement of Sen. Lummis going to the Nashville Conference to announce legislation for the strategic Bitcoin reserve. Before in the halls of BIS and other large institutional banks, you had to use euphemisms such as “Digital Assets” and “on-chain only” rather than the dirty, sinful word “crypto. In 2023, Project Atlas from BIS began to explore DeFI and crypto and now, BIS has given the green light for banks to have exposure to crypto, according to Saloi Benbaha of Tradefinix.

So Bitcoin dropped below the conversion line, and it's likely gonna close below it by the end of the week. It might even go down to 49k, which is normal for Bitcoin after a halving. If you look back at previous halvings, you'll see that it always retests the baseline during the bull run. I'm a bit scared now because it's a new lower low, and it's not just a normal new low, it's a weekly lower low. Weekly is powerful. Our final support level is 49k, which is critical for the continuation of the bull market.
