But if you set up your own Bitcoin node (or pay a third party service) you can etch your own as well.

It's hard to see a future where the good ones don't absolutely print when they come out, as long as the market as a whole stays up and no black swans ::crossing fingers:: The most popular ones at first are likely going to be the ones that the creator of Runes will etch, as well as the ones Leonidas will etch.

Bitcoin is sometimes referred to orange coin and Runes are etched into satoshis (Bitcoin fractions) Are you familiar with BRC-20's and how much they popped off last year? Well, Runes are an updated version of BRC-20 which just work a lot better.
