Whelp, totally wrong about Abrams M1 tanks to Ukraine.  

I served two tours in Iraq (03-04/ OIF1, 05-06, OIF3) as a Mechanized Infanty and Heavy Cavalry Commander. I am  now an entrepreneur and technologist.

How has your military experience made you stronger and how has it made you weaker?

Stronger: Having faces some prolonged hairy shit in combat, I feel like my determination and grit are a stronger than ever, especially when the stakes are less than death.   I consider myself hard to kill and have a mindset of surviving and persisting.

Weaker: One (of quite a few) weaknesses, since returning from combat is I empathize with people often to my own personal detriment.  I was taught and believe leaders eat last.  Silicon Valley treats that as a LARP.  I am getting better at putting myself first, but there is lots of trauma and programming to counteract.
