YouTube algorithm game theory at work. I love @bankless, but from the untrained perspective of someone new to the space, it increasingly looks like "one of 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 crypto YouTube channels". "You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain".

I was wondering the same thing too!! The thumbnails are gradually starting to look more bitboy / coin bureau like. 😅 Is this convergent evolution?

Unfortunately that’s how YouTube algos work If they don’t use that style they don’t get views They’ve debated on the pod quite a bit, whether to go cringe thumbnail or not

It’s a really good example. Sassals content is great. Very educational, no gaslighting, just facts and and a long term mindset Do you think it would be better if Anthony’s content reached more viewers by having a cringe thumbnail?
