when i click a link to a product and am immediately met with “install this PWA app to your homescreen” with no other information about the app, i immediately close the tab and never look back

they should just made it look like a mobile app landing page w/ screenshot of app — and then had an install button that then just prompted user to “save to your homescreen” ,,,

100%, needs to be a graceful upgrade (progressive enhancement) rather than a requirement, otherwise you basically just have a native app with shittier UX

We should replace PWAs with Telegram Mini-Apps. You get all the benefits of the daily active user base and notifications as well.
