"Soul Bossa Nova" is a song, like one of many, which everybody knows but nobody seems to know who wrote. This tune was an anthem during the 1998 FIFA World Cup and leitmotif for the Austin Powers trilogy of films. God save me, a sinner, "Soul Bossa Nova" was the title melody in the show "Foreplay" with Serge Gorely from "Comedy Club". I didn't think that I would ever write about this on my channel. And it was Quincy Jones who created this legendary instrumental back in 1961 in a record 20 minutes.

Tyler's Favourite Musical Moments on 'CHROMAKOPIA' Following tradition, Ty took to Twitter upon the release of a new album to share with us his favourite musical moments that many times evade our ears. 1:54 on 'ST CHROMA' this siren and low end together feel like a blast from an explosion. The "20 grand on me" line on 'RAH TAH TAH' is really a dumb joke from me, but I couldn't get it outta my head-so I wrote it down. The second post-hook section of 'NOID'. Willow's [Smith] harmonies and Thundercat's bass just feel like outer space. That bridge on 'DARLING I' is just. The chord at bar 5 on 'HEY JANE' is like a marshmallow; how else am I to explain it?. The ending keeps going up; it's my favorite song, really Tyler Z. Creator, with every sound I've ever used. I love how the horns don't come in until the last chorus; it's the climax. And it feels so much bigger because Wayne whispers right before it comes in.

Within the last week, I have seen three movies: Punch-Drunk Love, New York, New York, and American Beauty. One could refer to them as projects of the 2000s, but they all appeared very similar to me. Not in terms of the plot, but in terms of working with the genre-or better said- genres. All these movies have comedy, drama, melodrama, and even horror elements. It is my feeling that multi-genre cinema is so rare these days, and for that reason probably, the works of Kristoffer Borgli stand out so much. He grew up with such projects and now wants to bring that into his work. I wonder, why did they make films like that back then? The MTV era? The Millennium? If you have answers or suggestions, let me know!
