Agree that channels and coins suffer from fad dynamics but I think that only strengthens my point. They are very similar and closely linked, so why not truly link them.

I think coins exacerbating the speed to the graveyard is a function of tokens launching via crowdfund. If they start with airdrops and smaller group of holders with no liquidity, it might not have the same problem.

I think there’s still room for a lot of experimentation in how tokens are launched for channels.

idk, disagree i guess. imho channels and memecoins alike inherently suffer from fad-dynamics and lack of long-term stickyness. 99% become graveyards inside the first week. most of the survivors are propped up by artificial (weak, inorganic) incentives. adding a coin to channels would exacerbate this i think.
