Carnevale di Venezia is held every year in early February in the city of Venice, Italy. It is the most famous celebration in the world and starts every year 58 days before Easter. The philosophy of using special masks in this carnival goes back to eliminating the apparent difference between the rich and poor classes.

A truly magical and historic festival! The masks were originally worn to allow people from all social classes to mingle anonymously and freely during the Carnival.
