Then also publish it as an RSS feed and then allow posting to it and then we all sneakily switch to RSS.

I'm sure I had written a python script that removed various dependancies from the archive (download avatars locally, resolve short links, etc.) but I can't find it :-(

The Twitter archive used to come as a static site, with an index.html and everything, does it not anymore??

It could also be useful to do this for any account, even if it’s not your account (the twitter archive wouldn’t work in this case). A Twitter account scraping of sorts.

The download is a functioning static site. Just unzip and FTP/upload it and you’re all set.
