just got back from syria. met this amazing kid named ali, only 10, but already seen so much. he’s lost his home, yet still has this incredible smile and hope in his eyes. it’s moments like these that remind me why i do this. big shoutout to my buddy sarah, who’s been my rock through all this chaos. couldn’t do it without her.
