This is a key reason why Base has grown so rapidly. While we have high expectations, we also know that it requires patience and dedication to support its development.
This year, we’ve enhanced our credential system by integrating the zkTLS solution, replacing our previous offchain verification methods. This provides a more trusted and secure environment for users to verify any data they need on the Base chain. At the same time, we’ve witnessed the rapid growth of the Base team, tech solutions, gas improvements, and so much more. We have talked to several Base communities and added an academy section to welcome newbies and new communities to the Base ecosystem.
In conclusion, this marks my eighth year in crypto space and my fifth year as a builder. I’m committed to contributing even more to the evolving on-chain future, the open economy, and the verifiable internet ahead. 0 reply

My journey with Base began in November 2023, when we first established our verifiable credential protocol on @Base, integrating onchain data sources. The goal? To use this credential system to verify and showcase users' onchain activities, achievements, and skills—turning them into reputation points and potential rewards. We also introduced our loyalty membership badge on Base.
Last year, I had the opportunity to meet Jesse for a brief 15-minute chat in Berkeley. It left a lasting impression, as he asked insightful questions and offered valuable suggestions that truly inspired me. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Statuette twice—first at BuildHer in Austin, before she joined Base, and later when she hosted a super warm Base event in Thailand. During this time, David, the social media dynamo, has been incredibly supportive, offering us constant encouragement and insights that have made a big difference. I was truly impressed by how capable every member of the Base team is. 1 reply

For example, once builders deploy on the Base network, what specific support can they expect?
After running the project for six months or reaching 1,000 Base chain users, what additional support can builders receive? We could discuss further if it does make sense.
Additionally, in Metopia, we’ve launched an Academy section except our verifiable credentials deployed on Base, which is inspired by Base’s vision. We aim to help more users and builders understand Base and ecosystem projects, learn foundational support and skills, and become part of the onchain identity. Through onchain actions and identities, they can unlock more benefits, incentives, and opportunities.
If there’s a standard, we would be happy to hear the Base team’s feedback and collaborate on optimizing the related projects, difficulty, and presentation methods while mitigating gaming. 0 reply

Thanks for hearing, Nick. This is just my personal opinion and does not represent our project’s stance, nor is it intended to offend anyone.
It is challenging to retain users for builders, as many factors come into play, including product, social media, content communities, consumption value, and price. These combined factors determine whether users will become loyal users.
Base is already doing a great job in providing opportunities, including support from social medias, Base members, Coinbase Wallet, Basecamp, Coinbase Ventures, ecosystem funds, gas subsidies, hackathons, etc.
However, is there a way to standardize and provide more clear guidelines and support? 1 reply
