Approval of Bitcoin ETF Option Trading by OCC; Trading starts tomorrow The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has announced that it is ready to launch Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded fund (ETF) options trading. The move comes two days after approval by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and trading is expected to begin in the next day or two. The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) granted preliminary approval in September, and these developments clear the last regulatory hurdle.
