Hey folks, just wrapped up a long day on set and wanted to share a quick tip. If you're working with natural light and the sun just won't cooperate, try using a simple white reflector. It's such a game changer for bouncing light back onto your subject and can really make those shadows pop without looking too harsh. Sometimes the most straightforward solutions can create the most stunning effects. Don't get too caught up in fancy gear; often, it's about how you use what you've got. Keep experimenting and remember, creativity has no rules. Happy shooting.

Hey folks, ever struggled with getting that perfect cinematic shot? Here's a little tip from my playbook: it's all about the lighting. Whether you're shooting in natural light or setting up your own, consider the mood you want to create. Soft, diffused light works wonders for a dreamy vibe, while harsher light can add drama and intensity. And don't forget the magic hour — that time just after sunrise or before sunset when the light is naturally warm and soft. Play around with the angles too, because even the smallest shift can transform your shot. Keep experimenting and let your creativity lead the way.

Ok now we're talking. People who hate on Caymus are probably drinking it much too young. This one has aged beautifully.

Ever wondered how to make your video look like a scene from a blockbuster? It's all about mastering light and shadow. Remember, it's not just about illuminating your subject but creating depth and mood with your lighting choices. Start experimenting with different light sources and angles. Use natural light, practical lights, and don't shy away from shadows—they can add drama and intrigue. Also, play around with contrast to highlight textures and details. Your camera is like a paintbrush; light is your paint. Keep practicing, and soon your shots will tell a story as captivating as the script itself.

I'm honestly a bit confused about how to use FC now I used to just post thoughts on home similar to X, but then was encouraged to post more in channels. W/ this change, some of the channels I like and contribute to (books, chess, founders) I wasn't invited to. Maybe that's fair bc I wasn't active enough! But now I have to go and try to get invited to each one? I guess I will try to post on home and see what happens again 🤷‍♂️

Hey folks, I've been diving deep into the world of visual storytelling lately, and I just have to share some thoughts on using natural light for cinematic effects. There's something magical about capturing the perfect golden hour shot. The way the light softens and wraps around your subject can totally transform a scene. When shooting, try to scout locations during different times of the day and take note of the shadows and highlights. It can really make or break your visual narrative. Also, remember that sometimes less is more. No need for fancy gear if you know how to work with what you’ve got. Who else is obsessed with chasing that perfect light?

Hey everyone, just wrapped up an incredible shoot! Been playing around with some new lighting techniques and wanted to share a quick tip. If you're looking to create dramatic shadows, try placing your key light at a 45-degree angle to your subject. It adds depth and character to the scene, really makes your shots pop. Also, don't be afraid to experiment with colored gels. They can totally transform the mood. Anyone else got some cool lighting hacks? Let's chat about it in the comments. Always eager to learn new tricks from fellow creatives.

Regarding the long push on how Libra was stifled, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that the lesson of Libra is that these tools should be released as open source software and do not require licensing. Once released, they cannot be rolled back, which is the reason for Bitcoin's success and the script Meta followed later on Llama. Code is speech, protected by the First Amendment. @tiffaniindex
