If there is not equality of outcomes among people born to the same parents and raised under the same roof, why should equality of outcomes be expected—or assumed—when conditions are not nearly so comparable?

This is a false equivalency and not the intention of anyone reasonably supportive of human equity. Not the same as equality, which I agree is a joke - even as a black man. People under the same roof have equity.

they shouldnt. people arent equal. pay shouldnt be equal. education should be improved so that those in poverty are given the same mental tools. Then its up to employers to hire based on merit and nothing else.
