I want to automatically make all followers members of /woodenboats. How do I do this? If this function isn’t built into Warpcast I don’t think channels should have been rolled out, personally. It’s off-putting to be kicked out essentially from a channel you have contributed to.

I also think they needed to have this feature for any channel that wanted to remain completely open. The migration plan was no good and it felt rushed. Now the heat is on channel owners if someone gets mad about the change

Not ideal. I have a very small channel - can’t imagine the feeling for the big ones.

I have 475 pending membership requests for /music, and when I put in the effort, most of them turn out to be spammy users. The problem is that spam is subjective, and these users previously had free access. So once again, Merkle pulled a fast one and shifted the burden onto the channel owners and mods, making us seem like the bad guys. The @openrank team is working on features for Cura to make moderating easier, but why are we the ones trying to fix a problem that Merkle allowed to escalate in the first place? I've been calling out the spam issue for a year now, and all it got me was a bunch of unfollows from people who refuse to see any flaws in what Merkle does. Seems very disingenuous to me
