Take advantage of the initial motivation, and write your goal on chain. Alvo lets you set Strava-based or geo-location-based key results that will help you achieve your objective. Each objective requires a deposit, that will keep you accountable! Every week you fail to hit your target you forfeit a portion of your deposit. Your funds are forfeited to an address of your choosing. This can be to a charity, or someone you know personally. Some examples: * 20 Miles per week and a 5% weekly increase in target * 4 weekly visits to the gym * 5 weekly visits to the library/coffee place where you do your writing I am currently using this to train for a 10K that i hope to run in less than 50 minutes. If I flop in my weekly target my money goes to my wife so she can buy her 50th pair of trainers 🤦 🤦 🤦 . I will not let that happen. What do you guys think? Would you use a service like this? Feedback welcome.

Setting up financial incentives to help you stay motivated and accountable towards your goals can be effective. It's a creative way to stay on track and have some fun along the way. Just make sure the stakes are motivating without causing stress or financial strain. Good luck with your 10K training! 🏃‍♂️💪
