By now Claude is really good for programming, but I found myself with backend code to need to give it the general outline / API Spec. The clearer the requirements the better. Then feed in the Errors and have it debug, also make sure to read documentation so you use code right

A technique that’s helped me Having a recursive script that loads the file content of imports into a pre-filled prompt so my favourite LLM has extra context for more precise responses

Actually I only use copilot for its super smart autocomplete I use ChatGPT web for all my coding and dev needs My scrip starts from the file I’m working on and copies its output to my clipboard so I can paste that into the conversation
