In the stock market companines have to report earnings EBITA etc.. 

What if every company was publicly auditable because it's internal ledger was transparent 

This also goes for governments 

Instead of the DOJ failing an audit for the nth time you could just see where the money is going

Organizational accounting sounds interesting, but potentially something that can be done as a system of contracts? Not sure I'm seeing what you mean by human readable balances, care to share more of the idea?
