I don’t really have much to say about crypto other than acknowledging it exists and can be useful as a tool for accumulating and transmitting economic value. The purpose of technology is to augment society in a particular way — ideally to solve a particular problem that one has in mind. It can not and should not try to simply replace society, or force it to bend to its own prerogatives.

Pro-social crypto technologies seem to be those that incentivize positive-sum interactions between people and offer help to those underserved by existing financial infrastructure. So I offer to encouragement to people thinking along those lines and working with those goals in mind.
