Do you have a pirated/modded version?

I think this icon appears for those modded/pirated apps, that allow all features from super free, and allow other stuff too(might be a form of protest.)

At least on Android when you mod an App you need to repack it and will have a different signature, and won't work anymore with auto-update.

Neither with other Google services, so in order to make a modded app work with Google services like Drive/Google Account you also need to mod play services.

Personally, I don't use many moded apps on my phone maybe around 12%.

On most modded versions you'll have this icon alywas in the app update list. But not in other places (like the app drawer/screen - example in images)

I read on some modding forums that if you have the premium version you never get stuck with this icon, otherwise there have been reports that you can get stuck with this icon on the clean version too.
