If web2’s moat is data, what is the equivalent for web3?

Every good product should have built-in stickiness. Data as a core moat imo is overplayed. Users owning their stuff is great, and while reducing lock-in it doesn’t change defensibility. Ie: tiktok in web2. Data interpretation in web3 I think will be the closest data gets to a moat.

that's a great point. Data is 100% overused as a moat. and frequently fails to see light of day.
