I’ve had people ask me why I bought low FIDs & wanted to write out my thoughts.

Tl;dr: I like the numbers

Longer answer: I grew up on MMOs & online communities. I’ve traded rare accounts, usernames, etc. for years. I see a lot of parallels between the two & believe if Farcaster succeeds, low FIDs will be valuable

If i buy a sub 10k fid and want to use my current .eth with the new account. Will i lose all of my tips of degen ive received and have to restart my rank? Also i heard having a low fid increase your multipliers for allowance and rank. Is that true?

I am into gaming, skating, anime, crypto, and going to the gun range.

Hmm I’m not sure about tips - they might transfer if you connect your wallet to the new fid since I think tips received are tied to the wallet (not 100% sure). But you’d likely. We’d to restart your rank/progress since none of the casts transfer to a new fid
