How does it work? The hat NFT is passed around while playing the game and you accumulate points for capturing the hat, as well as for the time you hold it. Each second held is worth 3 points, while each capture is worth 1 point. These points directly tie to your share of the overall prize pool.

When over, you’ll be able to claim your $DEGEN prize. You’ll also be able to claim a generative art piece generated & stored onchain. This piece consists of a Farcaster Arch with some additional details added based on your game stats. The amount & size of circles correlates to your number of captures and time held!

Don’t get too greedy though, because you may get yeeted. After you’ve captured the hat more than 10 times, there will be a percentage chance you get yeeted, meaning you lose all your time held points. This starts at a one percent chance, and rises to a 50% chance if you’ve captured the hat enough times.
