Quite remarkable image of Saudi defense chief Khalid bin Salman meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei. Salman is leading a large delegation of Saudi defense and political officials to Tehran in a visit to the country fairly unprecedented since the 1979 revolution. At the same time Syrian leader Ahmad Sharaa is meeting with Iraqi leader Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani. Huge changes are afoot.

New leader in Syria it kind of makes sense. But what's driving Saudi <> Iran to suddenly start building a relationship? US oil independence?

Netanyahu reckless behavior has alienated everyone and convinced them to try and sort out of their differences. Saudi doesn't want to be perceived as anti-Iran if a war breaks out soon
