I don’t have a dog this fight, but Warhol and Banksy both employ(ed) teams to assemble their visions. 

Warhol was known for just calling his team by phone with instructions when he had an idea (source: vague recollection but it’s plausible)

To the original point, I think my take is that most AI generated images are not art, but a very small number probably are for intangible reasons

Interesting, yeah, teams are a whole different situation than the thought experiment in the cast but I can appreciate the connections drawn. It brings to the conversation the question of what is an 'Art Director' and do they create art as well..
