Farcaster is such a quaint little community rn, and I think it's so cute how people think that if we can just set the early culture as being friendly and civil that will have an impact in the future.

If you're convinced that Farcaster at 10K users is best, you can build a client that only shows content from FIDs < 10000. :)

LOL, yes and hopefully none of my 9998 besties never offhandedly mention the shit storm happening outside our happy little bubble.

The various Farcaster affinity groups are going to create ways of splitting and joining the CRDT that go way beyond the concepts of soft and hard forks.

But that is actually one scenario I was kind of noodling on. ie. Communities will probably want to insulate themselves in some ways. But you can only block incoming casts, you can't keep your casts internal.
