imo friendtech is the worst omen for social and society.

my #1 critique of social is that it’s turned us into dopamine addicts, consumed by competition, constantly projecting an image for others moreso than for ourselves.

friendtech takes this and… financializes it? and some of us are excited by it?

I think the protocol is interesting, the current algorithm is a bit strong, but if toned down a little bit with actual utility and less speculation there could be a useful product here.
