Do you associate wildfires with climate change?

It might be an insensitive question, it just feels like they are getting worse every year and we are completely moloch’d from solving it.

Don’t wanna sound insensitive or cynical, however I wonder how much CO2 has been released by these wildfires and what the anthropogenic climate change proponents think of it, now that we know these were at least partially preventable by doing controllable burnings they so eagerly lobbied against.
