When you’re in SF, you see pockets of the future everywhere. Most never “make it out”. It’s exciting when you see that future leave the bubble and go a bit more mainstream. Ex: Just saw a Waymo in LA. Self-driving cars are accessible to all.

the thing that's most interesting to me is watching my non startup friends interact with the hardcore tech stuff for the first time. The collisions happen constantly here and likely before anywhere else. For example recently my non-startup GF started taking Waymo late at night for safety reasons.
