Going to sound a bit controversial but this whole $POINTS thing is one of my least favorite aspects of web3.

Random lottery speculation leading to lots of engagement but no actual value behind it (we don’t even know what points are for).

Build value for consumers, not gambling for the masses.

crypto obv goes way overboard but to ignore the value of speculation / gambling completely is to ignore human nature. Gamification (particularly with money) is everywhere, not just in crypto.

That said I agree with the need for building real value, I just don't think these things are mutually exclusive.

While I agree with @pushix on this, this is a very good point. A balance, building something with real value while allowing for the game seems a good direction.
