I don’t think we need a decider

I think the community is fully capable of creating events in a decentralized manner

Maybe 2025 has too many events and its chaos, not the end of the world 

So many events are springing up I say let the freedom flow!

This. we've all been doing stuff together IRL for two years. Not once have I heard someone say who is allowed to host or where, and it's worked pretty well thus far.

I think I just self-select the people I end up interacting with?

The conference ecosystem has lately been evolving from "one dominant event" to "archipelago of colocated events" which I think has been a very positive change.

I see your point... I want to hang with as many farcasters as possible at one time too! but if ethereum has half a dozen big events per year, who's to say farcaster can't have more than one? after all the ethdenver meetup and farcon were less than two months apart and both had >400 ppl attend.

Well, but we do need a “main” event, just to know where the majority will go to
