We take YouTube for granted but the scale is insane, and changes like this can piss off so many people if you don't nail it. I like the change!

Cue joke about googlers changing one button color every six months.

in the YT music app they changed the player to this weird red but a subtle gradient towards the current timestamp and every time I see it I feel like my screen is dying in that one area

yt is miles ahead of anything else social imo. plenty of flaws and busted incentives, but certainly the best-in-class. weird what happens when you provide a service to creatives

also the only platform that gives 45% rev share. and the one with the best comments (less negativity surfaced overall).
