When you have kids the weekends are kinda more work than the weeks

Maybe it’s the type of lifestyle but I disagree. Weekdays are by far harder. I have to layer taking care of the kids with managing the team 
vs 
just light work load on the weekend and rolling around with the kids.

Also talked once with someone who for exactly this had the rule that no partner was allowed to be gone for two consecutive weekends

Parenthood is basically accepting to work on weekends too!

So true but I’m trying to shift this balance- laundry on weeknights instead of weekends, cleaning a little every day. 

Then weekends are more relaxing!
