How often do you say the word “interesting” in conversation? My friend remarked last night that it’s a vague filler word, and he’s right. I use it that way far too often. It’s sort of like how startups call themselves a “platform.” Doesn’t mean anything.

I try to use few times since I’ve noticed people use it too much, similarly to “exciting”. Maybe it’s an American thing.
