one downside of caring a lot about and investing in circadian friendly lighting is that you occasionally have to have dinner late under someone else’s bright blue bulb and it physically hurts

hey you might be sitting in a room, looking at a screen, surrounded by walls we evolved on the African savannah with clear views a long way. we could see the horizon wherever you are, just remember that the horizon exists out there, in all directions, even if you can’t see it does connecting to the horizon feel good?

According Dr Thomas Brown we should think about inattentive ADHD as being like erectile dysfunction yelling at yourself for not being aroused by a task doesn't help you perform no amount of "well I really want to be into this and in theory I should be" will create the conditions needed to get the thing to work
