Is anyone also reading the pieces about Elmo, Trump, Thiel, Vance, Yarvin? It’s wild and I think it’s a bit far out but not completely off. Personally I think that the right wing tech bros like Elmo just see their own immortality within reach and they want to remove all obstacles on the way to it. Knowing quite a bit about machine learning and math it’s totally not sci-fi and digital, fully conscious immortality is imaginable in a 10-20 years timeframe. My neighbors finally got mad at me for playing music so loud every night. It’s not my fault it’s the only way to keep the cockroaches away, my maid hasn’t taken the trash out in almost three weeks and playing ambient noise on full blast is the only way to keep them out 🫤
