I see this too and it makes me sick. The past few years, I’ve been working on framing my behaviors from the perspective of “does this make the world around me better or worse?” Within reason, but there’s way too much people do (and don’t do) out of apathy that makes the world worse.

I went to Dubai for the first time a couple months ago and the only way I could think of to describe how I felt there was that my body was physically rejecting the place. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, it just sucked.
