Honest question for podcasters out there, I listen to a lot of pods, never paid for one. If I can watch/listen to your podcast for free on YT or Spotify, why would I mint it or own your token to get access? My guess is distribution, but also that the number of people willing to routinely pay for podcast content is small. Am I right? wrong? Change my mind

I think making people pay for a podcast is putting money exchange at the wrong part of the funnel. This is basically gating access, I don't think a single podcast in the world is so exclusive to be worth that. Advertisers will pay more than individual listeners anyways

but then you are selling your audience to the advertisers, and I think (I hope) that @nonlinear.eth and @betashop.eth would agree that avoiding that is the goal of both their tools
