Wonder what the first and second order consequences of the board game renaissance are Millennials and Gen Z have a deeper relationship with a wider array of good board games than previous generations despite being more online

As someone who is on the border between generation z and millennials ( 1995 ) i have to tell you that my personal experience doesn’t reflect that. Very few people are interested in playing chess with me when i feel like it (though it’s not irrelevant that they may not know how to play). I’m not sure if poker and backgammon can be considered board games either. But even so, many people prefer these games online, where the fun is more about the live aspect !
